From the desk of nobody special, nothing special.

Hey Guys,

Don’t get all upset over the title, it’s self-reflection. Have you ever met a person that is so full of themselves that you couldn’t stand to be in the same room with them, yep, me to. I was once told by a very special person in my life “you will never make it in this business, you are too sweet”. I am nowhere near the word sweet, I keep to myself and you never know my thoughts, at least not all of them. These days I find it better to keep your mouth shut and your fingers still. A lot of people I know put everything they see or do on social media and I find that hard to understand.

What do you know about me really? I have children and a pet, and love knitting. Do you know how old I am? How fat I am? What my favorite color is? Most likely you don’t know these things about me, nor do you need to for me to be your friend. We are knitting and blogging friends and I don’t know that much about you either. That’s okay we will learn the important stuff as we go along. Do you really care about the craziness that is my life or do you want me to shut up and show you knitting or quilting. I thought as much, so here is the new ideas.

Photo explanations: First is the three new designs I have running around in my head( now you know I can’t  draw). Middle is the home-made pimento cheese spread I made for the family( that is already gone). Last is a quilt I am working on (little people or pet, I’m not sure yet).

Pimento cheese 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
1/2 cup pepper jack cheese shredded
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
4 oz pimentos
1 pack cream cheese softened (8 oz?)
mayo
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika powder.
Mix spices and softened cream cheese with mixer until fluffy, add cheeses and pimentos , add mayo last until you reach the creaminess  you like. I believe we added about 1 cup. Cool the eat. Try it as grilled cheese, yummy.
